Expeditions
Expeditions are Full-day, outdoor experiences for children aged 5 and up in areas of natural wonder throughout Edinburgh and the Lothians.
Running during the school holidays, your Junior Rangers will EXPLORE new environments, DISCOVER fascinating wildlife and be INSPIRED to embrace the outdoors!
Embark on a full day Expedition! suitable for Explorers aged 5 and up, we begin at 9am and end at 4pm with Junior Rangers requiring to be dropped off and picked up at the Expedition location. All that is needed is the right clothing, a backpack and a tasty lunch!
Our Chief Rangers will provide water and fruity snacks throughout the day to keep you going as there is always a level of physical activity involved. Whether it's the trek itself, climbing trees, or catching creatures, we'll be moving throughout the day (and getting mucky as we do!).
Keep in mind, the outdoors cannot be tamed! We operate in all weathers and every day is different no matter how many times a location is visited, nothing can be guaranteed - except a wild time!

the Autumn Half Term (October)
Our Expedition dates each season are different and calendars for booking availability are released well in advance through our mailing list, social media channels and here on our website!
