Activities
First imagined in 2017, The Wilderness Rangers have grown and adapted their services over the years. From humble beginnings, our now award winning experiences can be enjoyed in whatever way suits you best!
During the Term Breaks, we run full-day expeditions to areas of natural beauty such as forests, beaches, hills, ponds and streams across the Lothians - on the hunt for fascinating environments and the biological life that makes them their home.
Once a month, we run half-day Ranger Adventures, armed with our Wilderness Rangers Field-books. These outings take place in a different habitat each time, focusing on a wide variety of topics!
We have an extensive range of custom Birthday party packages available to make any Junior Ranger's special day an unforgettably WILD experience!
Our curriculum focused school sessions, known as "Quests", transform classrooms into habitats from around the world and cover a broad range of scientific learning outcomes. From fantastic fungus to rainforest ramblings, Deep sea delving to outer space surveys, our expert Chief Rangers will elevate your pupil's understanding of the natural world!
Get Stuck In!
When you explore with The Wilderness Rangers, getting your hands dirty should be expected! Whether we’re burrowing, building, climbing or wading we believe that getting stuck in to these environments is the only way to truly understand them.
We will always try to find as many natural wonders as possible and along the way we’ll understand complex environmental processes by seeing them in action.
